The Town seeks approximately 50 highly qualified candidates for seasonal open water lifeguards to protect beachgoers and swimmers at nine Town beaches for the 2022 season.
Approximate seasonal dates of employment are June 20, 2022, through September 5, 2022.
The following requirements are necessary to apply for this position:
1. Must be at least 16 years old
2. Should possess either a valid driver's license or passport
3. A
current
American Heart Association or American Red Cross Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) Certificate that is valid through September 2022.
4. A
current
American Red Cross Lifeguard Training Certificate that is valid through September 2022.
The starting hourly rate:
Lifeguards - $24.00 per hour
Lifeguard Supervisor - $32
per hour
(Rate effective May 2, 2022)
