   The Greenwood Village Police Department has learned that an individual has been contacting citizens claiming to be a “Detective from Greenwood Village Police” and telling people they have a warrant for their arrest and to avoid being arrested , they need to buy and send in gift cards .  
   This is a scam! Greenwood Village Detectives will never call and ask for money or payment by gift card .   
   If you have questions or concerns or feel you have been a victim of this crime , please call Police Sergeant Rob Parker of the Greenwood Village Police Department at 303 - 773 - 2525 .
