On 5/27/2022 at 9:00 p . m . Paulding County dispatchers received a call that a manhole behind 74 White Oak Drive in Natures Walk subdivision was overflowing . Crews arrived at 9:30 p . m . Pump trucks were used to stop the spill . The pumps were pulled and unclogged and the station was returned to normal operation . The spill was stopped at 11:00 p . m . The sewer was flowing at 20 gallons per minute for 120 minutes . A total of 2400 gallons of sewer went onto the ground and into Pumpkinvine Creek . Lime was applied to the area and a sign was placed at the creek .   A technician from the authorized service center is scheduled to be on - site and review pump station operation this week .
