Under general supervision, provides financial, administrative, and clerical support to an assigned department or division. The below list of tasks is ILLUSTRATIVE ONLY and is not a comprehensive listing of all functions and tasks performed by positions in this class. 
   Completes payments and control expenses by receiving payments, processing, verifying, and reconciling invoices;
       
   Maintains records and files associated with various business transactions according to the area of assignment;
   Matches requisitions with purchase orders and prepares for data input; 
   Updates and adjusts information on billing lists, verify account balances, replicates invoices and claim forms;
   Researches invoices and financial documents to resolve questions or complaints; 
   Provides training and instruction on purchasing procedures for department or division staff; 
   May assist auditors by compiling historical journal entries, backup documentation, and related items.
