Moorestown Creates will be holding a Community Art Project at Daffodil Day on Saturday , April 23 . In support of the mayor ' s “Year of the Environment” push and the quarterly effort to support plastic recycling efforts , Moorestown Creates has a special activity happening at the event .  
   Harry Bower ( substituting for Mary May )  is facilitating a plarn ( yarn made out of plastic bags ) project . Bower is folk artist who works specifically with upcycled materials and will be using the plarn to create a community project . Harry will be actively weaving and working with the public between 9 a . m . and 1 p . m . Perkins staff will be intermittently staffing the Moorestown Creates booth .  
   Residents can donate clean plastic bags by dropping them off at the Church Street Recreation Center or Perkins Center for the Arts .
