This Recreation Leader I employee will be responsible for working a variety of recreation duties such as afterschool, front desk duties, occasional opening/closing of the facility, special events, camps, and facility rentals. Afterschool duties will include transporting school-age children in a 14-passenger van daily from three local schools, and for supervising a structured afterschool program. This employee will run organized group play, activities, and homework time. When working camps, employees will be directly involved in planning and executing leisure activities such as interactive games, sports, arts, and crafts. Desk duties will allow this employee the opportunity to gain skills in communication and opportunities to work on projects assigned by upper management.
