The Radford City Police Department is looking for a FT Records System Manager.  The Records System Manager will perform intermediate skilled clerical work compiling statistical data and reports from official police records and supervising the records archiving policy and procedures; reporting, filing; and researching police records and police-related data.  The successful candidate will maintain all department records, including but not limited to offense reports, accident reports, arrest records, fingerprint cards, gun permits, summons, inner/inter departmental records, state and local, etc.  The Records System Manager will disseminate all records requested according to state code and local policy; review and correct all officer created state-mandated-offense reports; create and submit monthly offense and arrest reports to state; handle all FOIA requests; create and submit weekly reports to all media personnel, EMS officials and Radford University officials.   The successful candidate will also have the capability to serve as an alternate dispatcher when needed.  Successful completion of pre-employment testing and background screening is a must.  Applications may be obtained on the City’s website,
