Officer Joseph Kennedy observed a dark colored Honda northbound on I - 75 with dark tinted windows and a registration that was not legible . Officer Kennedy went after the car and when he tried to stop the car the car refused to stop . The Honda got off at the 92 Mile Marker and then got back on I - 75 and headed southbound .
Another Sidney Police Officer was able to get behind Officer Kennedy as they pursued the car southbound on I - 75 . The Honda was able to dodge several sets of STOP STICKS .
When the Honda neared the Needmore Road exit it struck a set of STOP STICKS that the Ohio State Highway Patrol had deployed . The Honda then exited on the Needmore Road exit . At the top of the exit ramp the driver exited the vehicle and went prone on the ground . The Honda was still in gear and rolled down an embankment . The passenger also exited the Honda and went prone on the ground too .
The driver was Davon Kristopher Hill age 22 , out of Hamilton County Ohio . Mr . Hill had several outstanding warrants out of Hamilton County . Mr . Hill was transported to the Shelby County Sheriff’s Office for incarceration . Suspected narcotics were also found in Mr . Hill’s possession .
