   Public meeting on Highway 71B Corridor improvements
   FAYETTEVILLE , Ark . — The City of Fayetteville invites members of the public to learn about proposed plans for improving a half - mile stretch of College Ave . between North a......nd Sycamore streets .  
   The meeting will be held Monday , Aug . 15 , from 4 to 7 p . m . in the Walker Community Room at the Fayetteville Public Library , 401 W . Mountain St .  
   The meeting will have an open forum format where residents will be able to view displays , ask questions and offer comments on the proposed project . City staff and representatives from Garver , the City’s contractor on this project , will be in attendance to discuss the improvements being proposed for this project , which include signalization , pedestrian and bicycle infrastructure improvements , safer roadway crossings , drainage improvements and more .
   Through Tuesday , Aug . 23 , information on the proposed project and meeting materials are available on the City’s project webpage:

   An online survey is available through Aug . 23 for residents who would like to provide comment but are unable to attend the meeting:

    . Those attending the meeting in person will have the opportunity to complete a comment form and either submit it to project staff or send it by mail or email to Garver staff .  
   Highway 71B Corridor improvements are part of a Street Improvements Projects bond approved by Fayetteville voters in April 2019 . For more information about this project , please go to
