In the not - too - distant future , Marysville’s Bayview Trail will extend nearly another five miles south to 8th Street Northeast in Lake Stevens . Trail users and residents of both communities are invited to help shape the development of that trail connector by participating in a short survey .  
   The questionnaire takes 5 - 10 minutes to complete . It features an interactive map where respondents can make location - based comments along with a survey asking about trail use , knowledge of the corridor and questions about development .

   When this Bayview Trail Connector project is complete , walkers and cyclists will be able to enjoy nearly eight miles of paved trail extending from north Lake Stevens through southeast Marysville to the regional Centennial Trail . In August 2021 , Marysville opened a 1 . 5 - mile trail segment connecting the Bayview and Centennial trails .
