The position performs as a resource specialist for public assistance programs to staff, audits public assistance programs including Health First Colorado (Medicaid), Temporary Aid to Needy Families (TANF), Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), Colorado Child Care Assistance Program (CCCAP), and Adult Financial. Employee monitors programs for accuracy and provides backup to eligibility unit along with overseeing the front desk operations and staff.
REQUIREMENTS:
Education:
High School Diploma or GED equivalent is required
Successful completion of bachelor’s degree preferred
Experience:
Minimum of five years’ experience working with multiple Self Sufficiency programs in a County Human Services agency required
Comprehensive knowledge of CBMS, Federal, State, and County rules, regulations and policies related to Self Sufficiency programs required
Two years supervision and employee training experience preferred
Combination of education and experience could waive specific requirement
Licenses/Certifications:
Current and valid Colorado Driver’s License
