   Recreation Department 
   Program Coordinator
    
   The Town of Billerica Recreation Department is a rapidly evolving department seeking dynamic candidates to fulfill the role of Recreation Program Coordinator.  Over the course of the last few years, our department has seen a major turnover in staffing that has provided an opportunity to restructure and rebuild the department.  We are looking for candidates that are energetic team players who will join us in taking on the excitement of growing our department and programs.  This position performs a wide variety of tasks including: clerical, administrative, supervisory, and occasional maintenance work while assisting in the overall operations of the Recreation Department, including but not limited to: programming and special event planning, budgeting, grant writing, and supervision of part-time/seasonal employees.
    
   Applicants shall possess Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university in related field and a minimum of three years related experience, including program/event planning and staff supervision. Qualified candidates will be certified in First Aid and CPR, possess a valid driver’s license and will be available to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays when needed.  
    
   Salary range: $65,000 - $75,000 based on experience.
