CHESTERFIELD COUNTY , VA –
Police have arrested a suspect involved in a shooting incident that occurred in the 3200 block of St . Stephens Way . At about 8:05 p . m . on Wednesday , May 18 , police responded to multiple calls for service about gunshots being heard in the area . Upon arrival , officers located two victims on an adjacent roadway who advised they were shot at by a known subject . No one was injured during this incident .
Through investigation , police identified the shooter as Ian C . Cooper , 20 , of the 3200 block of St . Stephens Way . He was arrested on May 23 and charged with shooting at an occupied vehicle , carrying a concealed weapon , and discharging a firearm within a public space . He has since been released on bond .
