There is a current vacancy at the Animal Shelter for a part-time shelter aide. This is a non-benefited (no insurance) position that will perform daily cleaning and disinfecting of all kennels, cages, crates, and other animal related items; socialize, feed and care for pets; perform general facility maintenance.
This position is scheduled to work an average of 16 hours per week.
The regular schedule for this position is 8:00 a.m. to noon, Sunday through Wednesday. The furry friends at the shelter need care every day so this schedule is required. If you are not availble to work this schedule, please do not apply. Holiday hours are also part of the regular schedule.
Vacation, Holiday, Sick, and Employee Choice hours are earned on a pro-rata basis. This position is represented by the Office & Professional Employees Union, Local #8.
