   The City of Mont Belvieu, Texas is currently accepting applications for a part-time
   Housekeeper
    in the 
   Parks & Recreation
    Department. The City of Mont Belvieu is a growing community located on IH-10 east of Houston, Texas in Chambers County.
    
    
   POSITION SUMMARY:
   Eagle Pointe Recreation Complex is looking for thorough housekeepers with excellent cleanliness standards to attend all areas of our facilities, including Eagle Pointe Recreation Complex and Golf Club, The Hilltop, City Hall Complex, Public Works and Animal Shelter. The goal is to enhance customer experience by keeping our facilities in clean and orderly condition.
    
   ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
   Reports directly to Lead Housekeeper
   Clean and tidy all areas to the standard cleanliness within time limits
   Deliver excellent customer service
   Create daily job lists and record all serviced rooms
   Maintain equipment in good condition
   Report on any shortages, damages, maintenance or security issues
   Handle reasonable patron complaints/requests and inform others when required
   Check stocking levels of all consumables
   Comply with health and safety regulation and act in line with company policies and licensing laws
   Communicate with supervisor regularly
   Attend all required EPRC meetings and events
   Stay punctual and prepared for all shifts
   Respond quickly in the event of an emergency
   Comfortable with using and demonstrating all the equipment
   Continue professional development
   Maintain flexible schedule in order to meet needs of the Grill and Special Event demands
   Work independently, effectively manage own time and multi-task in a fast-paced, high production environment
   Notify Facility Maintenance 1 of any situations relating to quality, customer service, safety, productivity, security or any other situation that may have an adverse effect on the facility

   REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
   High School diploma or equivalent (GED).
   Must possess a valid Texas Driver License.
   Successful candidates must pass pre-employment drug screen, job related physical and background check.
    
    
   KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
   Ability to serve the public and fellow employees with honesty and integrity.
   Knowledge of federal, state and local laws, statutes, regulations, codes, and standards related to the area of responsibility.
   Knowledge of City policies and procedures.
   Ability to communicate and interact effectively with members of the public and co-workers.
   Ability to maintain and follow proper purchasing policies.

   Skill in effective oral and written communication.
   Skill in the use of standard office equipment and software.
   Ability to exercise sound judgment in making critical decisions.
   Skill in resolving customer complaints and concerns.
   Skill in completing assignments accurately and with attention to detail.
   Ability to analyze, organize and prioritize work while meeting multiple deadlines.
   Ability to process and handle confidential information with discretion.
   Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with the general public, co-workers, elected and appointed officials and members of diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds, regardless of race, color, religion, gender, national origin, age, marital status, political affiliation, familial status, disability, sexual orientation, pregnancy, or gender identity and expression.
   Thorough knowledge of hazards, safety rules, and regulations applicable to area of responsibility.
   Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
   Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers and the general public.
   Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent.
   Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
