Job Summary:
Performs a wide range of skilled and semi-skilled parks, grounds, facilities, and cemetery maintenance duties including turf mowing and trimming, irrigation maintenance, equipment operation and cemetery lot location and marking.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Performs cemetery maintenance, which includes: performing general maintenance of turf areas; reseeding spaces; maintaining irrigation and pumping systems; maintaining landscape; installing, repairing, and maintaining fences and concrete areas; and/or, performing other related activities.
Maintains vehicles and equipment by performing routine and light maintenance and repairs.
Performs snow removal and de-icing duties.
Experience and Training:
Minimum Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
Job Requirements: Valid Colorado Driver’s License. Must pass a background check with results acceptable to the City of Rifle.
Work Experience in Positions Similar or Related to This Job: Six months of related experience; or, an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job such as those listed above.
