The Town of South Kingstown’s Parks and Recreation Department is currently accepting applications for the position of part time Front Desk Office Clerk. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing routine clerical tasks including but not limited to answering phones, taking registrations, handling payments, and providing general customer service at the front desk of the Neighborhood Guild.
To be considered applicants must have a high school diploma or GED equivalent. Coursework in general office procedures and a minimum of one year of increasingly responsible related experience preferred. Candidates must also have strong communication skills, and must have the ability to establish and maintain successful working relationships with fellow workers, the public, and others, in a courteous manner.
This non-benefit eligible position pays $13.40 per hour and will typically work Wednesdays and Thursdays 12pm to 3pm and Fridays 12pm to 5pm. The work schedule may fluctuate to meet operational needs of the Parks and Recreation Department. To apply, please submit your application to:
