Join us Friday , June 23 , 2023 from 10:00 - 11:00 a . m . at Grapevine Animal Services as we offer our PAWS ( Promoting Animal Welfare and Safety ) by Reading program! Come see our new animal shelter and enjoy learning about responsible pet ownership and compassion for animals with your family .
Children 12 and under will have the opportunity to attend story time at the shelter . Our shelter staff will welcome children and read two stories about the connection between animals and people . Following story time , children will participate in a craft . A snack will be provided .
Sign up is required due to limited space . To help allow as many children to attend as possible , we kindly ask that there is only one adult chaperone per family; children should not be left unattended . The event is free of charge .
