Have your permit plans reviewed while you wait! The Over - the - Counter Wednesday Plan Review Program started in 2015 to help expedite the permit process by shortening your two - week review to a one - hour pre - scheduled appointment .  
   Planning a project has never been easier .  At the appointment , owners , contractors , or design professionals will meet with County staff to review the plans . Qualifying projects include decks , garages/workshops , swimming pools , interior remodels , simple tenant improvements , and more .
