The Constitution of Virginia requires you to be registered in the Ward in which you live in order to vote .  For the convenience of the citizens of Waynesboro , the Voter Registration Office is open every day Monday - Friday , 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM at 250 S Wayne Avenue , Suite 205 , Waynesboro , VA  22980 .
   In order to be eligible to vote in the Republican Primary Election to be held on June 21

    , 2022 , you must be registered no later than 5:00 PM Tuesday , May 31

    , 2022 .  Anyone wishing to vote in this election may do so .  The following office with the will be on the ballot:

   Early voting begins 45 days prior to each election .  May 6

    , 2022 is the first day to vote early for this election .  Hours are 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM and 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM Monday through Friday/Also , for the convenience of the citizens , the Voter Registration Office will be open on Saturday , June 11

    , 2022 , and June 18

    , 2022 from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM for the purpose of Absentee Voting .   June 18th , 2022 , is the last day in which a voter may cast an absentee ballot in person .  Friday , June 10

    , 2022 is the last day in which an absentee ballot can be mailed .  The Virginia Department of ELECT website is elections . virginia . gov for all your voter registration and absentee ballot application needs .
   All citizens are encouraged to register .  Remember , “Always vote and be counted!”  Polls open at 6:00 AM and close at 7:00 PM for ALL elections .
