On Thursday , April 28 , 2022 , at approximately 12:40 p . m . , unknown suspects in a Chevy Suburban ( 2000 - 2006 year model ) , fired what is believed to be a “SplatRBall” gun , hitting three victims on Central Avenue ( 800 block ) .  A “SplatRBall” gun , fires gel - filled projectiles similar to paintballs and can cause welts and bruising .  
   It is believed the suspects are young adults or juveniles who were possibly engaging in some form of social media challenge . Anyone caught engaging in this type of social media stunt/challenge are putting others and themselves in danger of harm’s way , and will be charged accordingly .
