☷ Hot Springs Arkansas - Official HSPD Release 1306 Albert Pike Rd shooting

   On Thursday , March 17 , 2022 , at approximately 9:40 a . m . , officers with the Hot Springs Police Department responded to 1306 Albert Pike Road in reference to a shooting . Upon their arrival , they 
   located a male victim with a gunshot wound and witnesses attempting lifesaving measures . Officers and paramedics took over care of the victim; however , he died on the scene .
    
   The witnesses were able to supply suspect information , along with a description of the vehicle , to officers .  
    
   The vehicle and suspects were found a short time later and were positively identified by witnesses . Kia Moore , 19 , Malik Hughes , 18 , and Jamiah Hughes , 20 , were arrested for second - degree murder , a Class A felony .  
    
   The victim’s name is being withheld at this time pending notifications .
