A public hearing will be held on the proposed tax budget for fiscal year 2023 on Monday , June 6 , 2022 , at 7:30 p . m . for all interested citizens of the City of Worthington . The following tax budget is proposed by the following programs:
Police and Fire Services $ 15 , 282 , 113
Public Health 81 , 113
Leisure Time Activities 6 , 073 , 289
Community Environment 1 , 030 , 265
Utility Services 1 , 279 , 000
General Government 9 , 000 , 768
Capital Improvements 7 , 346 , 493
Debt Retirement 1 , 399 , 672
This public hearing will be held at the Louis J . R . Goorey Worthington Municipal Building , 6550 North High Street , for the purpose of discussion of the proposed tax budget . All interested citizens will have the opportunity to give written and oral comment . The proposed tax budget may be examined on weekdays at 6550 North High Street , between 8:00 a . m . and 5:00 p . m . The City will make reasonable accommodations for persons with disabilities who wish to attend the public hearing with a minimum of 48 hours advance notice .
