National Night Out enhances the relationship between neighbors and law enforcement while bringing back a true sense of community . Furthermore , it provides a great opportunity to bring police and the community together under positive circumstances . The Brownsburg Police Department and select areas celebrate the first Tuesday in August or October .  
   The Brownsburg Police Department will be celebrating National Night Out on Tuesday , October 4
   thfrom 5:30 - 7:30PM at the Brownsburg East Middle School located at 1250 Airport Road .  
   Our focus is this year is “Family & Their Mental Health” . With over 75 vendors , we have several organizations that will be providing helpful information on mental health and counseling . Officers will be handing out finger print kits for all families .   
   As part of our partnership with the Brownsburg Community School Corporation , the BHS Performing Arts class will be providing the entertainment on the stage and performing music from their fall musical – “Mamma Mia” .  
   Flapjacks , Sertoma , Jack’s Donuts , Ploughes Towing , Porter’s Towing and Coca Cola of Indianapolis will provide free food & beverages .  
   Activities for the family include:
   Emergency Equipment displays by Brownsburg Police , Brownsburg Fire , Hendricks Co Sheriff’s Dept . , Indiana State Police
   Large inflatables from Moonwalk for kids and adults , provided by Porter’s Towing , Central Indiana Police Foundation and Bill Estes .  
   Several vendors will have games , prizes and handouts
