   This meeting will collect feedback on electric vehicle ( EV ) infrastructure needs and potential locations . Attendees will have a chance to better understand the NEVI program and its impact , ask questions , and provide feedback for the NMDOT on EV infrastructure needs and locations .
   New Mexico expects to receive approximately $38 million from this program during a five year period from the U . S . Department of Transportation . These funds will be used to install EV charging infrastructure with a priority on interstate highway locations .
   NMDOT must develop a Statewide Electric Vehicle Infrastructure Plan to be eligible for this unprecedented investment . Help NMDOT create a robust plan that meets the needs of all New Mexicans!
