HENDERSON , KY , May 20 , 2022– Trash collection in the City of Henderson and services at the landfill/transfer station will be operating on a different schedule during the week of the Memorial Day holiday .
   There will be no trash collection on Monday , May 30 , according to Sanitation Superintendent David Steele . The normal Monday routes and Tuesday routes north of 12
   th
    Street will be collected on Tuesday , May 31 .
   The remainder of Tuesday routes and Wednesday routes will be collected on Wednesday , June 1 .
   The remainder of the week will be as normal .
   Please have you trash out by 5 a . m .
   The landfill/transfer station also will be closed on Monday , May 30 .  It will reopen for normal operations at 7 a . m . , on Tuesday , May 31 .  
   The recycling truck will be running one day behind its usual schedule .
   As a reminder , other City of Henderson offices will be closed for the Memorial Day holiday .
