   Preliminary information: On May 27 , 2022 at around 8:04 pm , Atlanta police responded to 4033 Ester Dr SW on a person shot call .   Upon arrival , officers located an adult male with gunshot wounds .   He was transported to the hospital alert , conscious and breathing for further medical treatment .   Preliminary investigation revealed the shooting was the result of a domestic dispute that escalated to gunfire .   Investigators with the Aggravated Assault Unit will be working to determine the circumstances surrounding the shooting .   The investigation continues .
