The City of Beloit has an employment opportunity available in the Operations Division of the Department of Public Works. The City of Beloit is seeking to hire a Maintenance Specialist to perform a broad range of semi-skilled maintenance tasks to include minor painting, carpentry, plumbing, and electrical repairs, concrete and metalwork. This position is characterized by significant time spent independently or with other employees performing semi-skilled maintenance work. This position requires the exercise of judgment and discretion in identifying and completing necessary maintenance and repair tasks under the general supervision of the Citywide Facilities Supervisor.
