– The Grace A . Dow Memorial Library is kicking off its Summer Reading Program in grand style with an outdoor event in the Library parking lot on Friday , June 3 from 5:30 – 7:30 p . m . The public is invited to visit and enjoy food trucks , bounce houses , crafts , games , music , and more .
To accommodate this event , the Library parking lot will be closed all day on Friday , June 3 . The building will also be closed for browsing and checking out materials due to final post - flood construction ahead of its full grand reopening .
Parking for this event will be available at Dow Gardens , Midland Center for the Arts , and the MSU St . Andrews parking lots .
In case of rain or inclement weather , the event will be moved to Friday , June 10 .
The Library will reopen for regular business hours at 9 a . m . on Monday , June 6 . Stay tuned to the Library’s newsletter and Facebook and Instagram channels for more information about the special grand reopening celebration!
