The Main Library of the Williamson County Public Library is accepting applications for a part-time (16 hours per week) Youth Services Library Assistant. This position will work in Children’s Department of the Main Library. Schedule will require Monday evenings, every Saturday & Sunday hours and other hours as assigned. Job Responsibilities include but are not limited to, assisting on the children’s reference desk, helping with homework research and computer help, providing recommendations for assigned and pleasure reading, helping to shelve materials, occasional assisting or planning children programs. Computer experience and experience working with youth (birth-age of 18 years) is preferred. High school diploma, college or MLS degree, and public library experience preferred. Position pay is $11.25
Applicants for this position should have the qualifications and experience necessary to understand and perform tasks such as those listed above and other similar duties. This position is subject to a background check.
