   The City of Lakeland announces a new platform/app called
   Lakeland Connect ,  
   powered by a partnership with SeeClickFix , that will allow citizens to report quality - of - life concerns and request Lakeland services .  
    
   With the free SeeClickFix mobile app and web tools , Lakeland citizens will now be able to submit photos , specific descriptions , and other valuable information into this centralized issue management system for City of Lakeland staff to address citizen concerns efficiently .
    
   “Lakeland Connect and the SeeClickFix mobile app provides another opportunity for citizens to engage with their City to report quality - of - life issues directly . This platform assists staff in addressing a critical Board of Commissioners priority in providing proactive communications with citizens , ” said Lakeland City Manager , Shane Horn .  
    
   The 
   Lakeland Connect
    application , powered by SeeClickFix , is a user - friendly communication tool that will let City staff know , in real time , when there are quality - of - life items and service requests that need our immediate attention , and to track our progress when addressing issues , ” says Shane Horn , City Manager .
    
   Lakeland citizens can report problems and view , comment on , and vote to fix problems submitted by their neighbors . They can even create their own “watch areas” to receive notifications about all the issues reported in their community , enabling them to follow the progress of all service requests , not just the ones they report .
    
   The
   Lakeland Connect
    mobile app is now available for download on 
   Android
    and 
   iPhone
    .
   In addition to the mobile apps , citizens can send reports via
