The Jefferson County Commissioners are seeking Board Members to serve on the Jefferson County Board of Equalization . This Board is separate from the Assessor’s Office . They hear and decide on property tax appeals . This position receives a $100 per day stipend and works approximately 25 days a year . Must be a resident of Jefferson County .
