The Town of Belleair is recruiting a Human Resources Intern that can assist with advancing our HR protocols and processes. The successful candidate will assist with the Recruitment of both full and part time positions throughout the organization as needed, develop training modules as part of our Training and Development Program, suggest and develop process improvements for such things as our on-boarding and off-boarding of employees as well as other workflow processes via Google Docs, assist with writing, editing and implementation of employee policies in topics related to HR and Risk Management. Examples of Risk Management related items, include Workers Compensation and the Safety Program.
Experience in Microsoft Office and Google Docs are a must. Prior experience working in an HRIS system a plus. The HR Intern will have excellent organizational skills as well as written and verbal communication skills. Must be currently studying for a degree in Human Resources or a similar field.
