   Hondo recently joined our agency and will begin his training in August .   Hondo and his partner Officer Brad Sutton have been taking this time to bond and get to know one another .  
   As with any major addition , HPD could not have done this without the help of our community partners .   We would like to thank HUNSCHE EXCAVATING , INC and RED - E - MIX for Hondo’s kennel and DOWDY DAWGS for donating Hondo and Officer Suttons initial training .  
   Community involvement is one of the things that make the City of Highland great .   We at Highland Police Department appreciate all you do to continue to make our city one of the best .  
   Thank you again for the support and we looking forward to introducing Hondo to you when he is ready for duty!
