Williamson County Health Department is accepting applications for a full-time Health Educator.  This position will be responsible for developing and implementing public health education programs for the community; promoting public health information targeting substance & tobacco use, physical activity, nutrition, and other health-related topics; and using marketing and media to disseminate messaging.  In addition, this position will develop health plans and reports for various public health programs.
   A Bachelor’s degree in health education or a related field is preferred.  Qualifying full-time professional experience in health education may be substituted for the preferred education on a year-for-year basis, to a maximum of four years. 
   Salary for those fully meeting the minimum qualifications is $19.00 per/hour.
   Applicants for this position should have the qualifications and experience necessary to understand and perform tasks such as those listed above and other similar duties.
   The Department Head or County Official reserves the right to consider applicants within his/her department or the County Government prior to considering other applicants.
