LANDSCAPING AND GROUNDS-KEEPING
Salary Range: $16.38-$20.97 Hourly
$1,310.40- $1,677.60 Biweekly
$2,680.80-$3,355.20 Monthly

JOB DESCRIPTION
Landscape or maintain grounds will be required to report to the Public Works Supervisor to complete assigned duties such as the usage of hand or power tools and/or equipment. Landscape or maintain grounds will perform a variety of tasks, which may include, but not limit to a combination of the following: sod laying, mowing, trimming, planting, watering, fertilizing, digging, raking, sprinkler installation, and installation of minor segmental concrete masonry wall units and additional duties as assigned.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Gather and remove litter and dispose of trash or waste materials.
Operate vehicles or powered equipment: mowers, tractors, twin-axle vehicles, snow blowers, chainsaws, electric clippers, sod cutters, or pruning saws.
Operate maintenance equipment
Drive the company truck or other company vehicles to and from work sites.
Water lawns, trees, or plants, using portable sprinkler systems, hoses, or watering cans,
Irrigate lawns, trees, or plants.
Prune or trim trees, shrubs, or hedges, using shears, pruners, or chain saws. Trim trees or other vegetation. Operate grounds maintenance equipment.
Mix and spray or spread fertilizers, herbicides, or insecticides onto grass, and shrubs.
Mix and spray trees, using by hand or automatic sprayers.
Provide proper upkeeping of sidewalks, driveways, parking lots, fountains, platers, burial sites, and/or other grounds features.
Mow lawn either by hand and/or mechanical lawnmower.
Cut law using hand, power, or riding mower
Trim and edge sidewalks, flowers beds, and walls.
Distribute fertilizer to ground to enhance growth.
Cut down tree limbs that are posing a danger.
Trim shrubs and pull weeds.
Perform minor repairs and maintenance procedures on equipment utilized in
grounds keeping
.
Install rock, cement, lighting water, and furniture.
Complete additional duties as assigned
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
1+ years of experience as a landscaper groundskeeper or similar occupation.
Detail orientated.
Valid driver’s license and clean background check.
First-rate customer service skills.
Preferred:
Proficient in English
Excellent verbal and communication skills.
