What:
Brand new flood control project unveiled that ends historic standing stormwater flooding issues in front of apartment complexes . Also new lit pedestrian path designed for safe route to school for elementary students .

Replacement of stormwater infrastructure on S . 180th and S . 182

New sidewalk , pedestrian crosswalk , ADA curb ramps and pathway lighting on S . 180th Street within limits of new pavement grading
New lit asphalt pathway providing pedestrian connection between S . 180

Installation of stormwater infiltration gallery to redirect groundwater to existing drainage channel
Dredge and regrade of existing drainage channel to improve flow and capacity
