The Department of Public Works seeks a qualified candidate for the position of Facilities Foreman. Under the direction of the Facilities Maintenance Manager, the successful applicant should have the ability to
a wide range of skilled work including supervision and maintenance of town-owned properties and facilities, as well as leased areas; assigns maintenance personnel to appropriate units; inspects the work of field crews while in progress and when completed; coordinates repairs and maintenance of assigned properties and leased areas, including overseeing contracted repair and maintenance work; and handles emergencies when necessary.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Experience in facilities management preferred or any equivalent combination of education and experience. Should have at least two (2) years of experience in a municipal setting.
certification desirable. Massachusetts Class D motor vehicle operator’s license is required.
This is a 40 hour per week LiUNA SA Union position. Starting annual rate
