☷FBI Media Alert FBI Seeks High Top Robber After Albuquerque Bank Robbery

The FBI and Albuquerque Police Department are seeking the public’s assistance to identify the “High Top Robber , ” who is responsible for a bank robbery on Monday , May 2 , 2022 . At approximately 10:25 a . m . , an unknown male entered Wells Fargo , 3022 Central Avenue SE . The suspect verbally demanded money from a teller . The robber received an undisclosed sum of money and ran southwest toward Dartmouth Drive SE . Suspect’s Description:Sex: MaleAge: 20sHeight: Approximately 5 ' 6”Race: Native American or HispanicClothing: Gray pullover sweater , dark baseball cap , sunglasses , dark mask covering lower half of face , dark pants , black and white high top basketball shoes . Other: The suspect carried what appeared to be clothes in his hand . The FBI is offering a reward of up to $2 , 000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of this suspect . Anyone with information about this robbery is asked to contact the FBI at ( 505 ) 889 - 1300 , or Albuquerque Metro Crime Stoppers , anonymously , at ( 505 ) 843 - STOP . Information about other bank robbers wanted by the FBI can be found at bankrobbers . fbi . gov . Bank robbery carries a possible prison term of up to 20 years . The use of a gun , other dangerous weapon , toy gun , or hoax bomb device during the commission of a bank robbery can be punishable by a prison term of up to 25 years .
