The City of Grandview Heights is accepting applications for a Events and Activities Coordinator. Under the direction of the Director of Parks & Recreation, is responsible for performing a variety of duties using a high degree of independent judgement. Planning, coordination, and implementation of City events and activities; involving other City departments as needed. Required to work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends.
Qualified applicants must have a valid Ohio Driver’s license, Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations or Administration, Recreation or related field, or considerable experience in event management in recreation or public facing environment. Desired skills include developing, planning, organizing and implementing a variety of special events, activities or recreation programs and ability to identify community needs and recommend appropriate programs.

Salary minimum/maximum range for this job title is $36,500 - $66,000, with excellent benefits. The target hiring salary range for this vacancy is $43,000 - $50,000 based on applicable experience, skill set and technical abilities.
