Event Manager
Parks and Recreation Department
Summary
Responsible for managing private events at the Longview Farm House. Be the onsite
contact for renters.
Knowledge, skills and abilities include those listed below, however, other duties may
be assigned. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform
each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to
enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
Education and Experience Required
High School Diploma and event or customer service experience required. Demonstrated
ability of a high standard of customer service. General knowledge of office equipment i.e.
copiers, audio visual equipment, fax, and phones helpful.
Ability to
Work independently and efficiently without routine supervision.
Work days, and occasional evenings and weekends.
Respond effectively to inquiries and complaints from the renter and general park
going public, and members of the business community.
Lift objects and move equipment if necessary. Climb, balance, stoop, kneel,
crouch and use hands to handle or feel. Must be able to see, speak and hear.
Work Environment
The indoor environment provides for a safe and healthy work environment and is smoke
and drug-free.
