The Electric Lineman assists in the construction, repair, and maintenance of the city's electric distribution system.
Qualifications
5+ years experience with electric distribution systems
Knowledge of construction, operation, repair, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electric overhead distribution systems and underground systems
Ability to analyze electric problems
Skilled in operating bucket truck, lift digger/derrick truck, and related equipment
Be able to carry, hold, lift, push, and pull a minimum of 50 pounds
Knowledge of safety procedures Class B or C Lineman certification preferred
Class B Commercial Drivers License
required
High School Diploma or GED
required
Salary is dependent upon qualifications.
