Primary Responsibility:
Cleaning and maintenance of the library.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED. Knowledge of materials, methods and equipment used in custodial work and minor building and grounds maintenance and repairs. Physical strength sufficient to perform a variety of routine manual tasks in the care, cleaning and limited maintenance or protection of buildings including vacuuming carpeted floors; scrubbing, washing, waxing, and polishing hard surfaces; cleaning & sanitizing washrooms; lifting chairs, tables, cartons of books and supplies. Snow shoveling and ability to work extra shifts on weekends when the library has special programs scheduled and following winter storms.
Hours
: Part-time, 20 hours per week
Evenings and possible flexible weekend hours
Starting Salary
: $19.74--$22.39 per hour, plus some pro-rated benefits
