The overall goal of the Development Department is to responsibly grow land - use development and the street networks which support past , current and future development in a manner that enhances the quality of life for residents and stakeholders within the City of Spring Hill . These tasks include aspects of Engineering associated with Development , Building Codes Enforcement , Permitting and Planning .
   The Development Department would like the opportunity to introduce our City Engineer , Lawrence ( Lance ) Holdorf and discuss the planning process to include what the Development Department looks for as we complete the site plan review and planning application process . We have identified three ( 3 ) dates to hold a series of meetings aimed at sharing information and receiving input from the business community which will guide the Development Department , the Planning Commission and Board of Mayor and Alderman as we set the expectations for required information to be submitted as part of Planning and Engineering documents . The dates and times of the meetings are as follows:
   Wednesday , April 27 from 11am - 12pm
   Tuesday , May 3 from 11am - 12pm
   Thursday , May 12 from 11am - 12am
    All meetings will be held at the Spring Hill City Hall .
