   This position performs specialized duties in the processing of delinquent utility accounts.   Guidelines include department policies and procedures.  This position discusses delinquent accounts with customers, makes payment arrangements, and resolves problems.  Issues, edits and completes work orders for delinquent accounts, new accounts, rereads and closed accounts.  Reviews accounts and turns over to collection agency as appropriate.  Calculates account credits and makes journal entries.   Applies energy assistance payments to accounts.  Assembles, edits and types correspondence and reports.  Sorts and processes mail and drop box payments.  Performs related duties as assigned.
