Hello Weston . First Selectwoman Sam Nestor here with an important Covid update
   The total number of reported cases in Weston went from
   1 , 629
    to
   1 , 657
    , an increase of
   28
    new cases this past week .   However with the increase in home testing , the actual number is potentially much higher .   There has been an increase in hospitalizations due to Covid , a clear sign that the situation continues to be of concern .   While people need to make their own decisions about masking in public , it is important to be aware of an increase in Covid cases .
   As of February 28 , 2022 masks are optional in all municipal buildings .  Please see here for the notice

   Along with this change all Municipal Properties are open to regular business . Appointments are no longer necessary; however we will still require social distancing in our buildings .
   Please note: Masks may still be required in other locations outside the municipal authority . They include healthcare facilities , facilities housing vulnerable populations , public and private transit , and correctional facilities .
