Sausalito Library Un - Council Honors Chris Gallagher on Her Retirement from Army Corps 27 May 2022 ( news )

   The City Council adjourned from its meeting on Tuesday , May 24 in honor of 
   Chris Gallagher
    , who will be retiring from her position as Park Manager of the 
   Bay Model Visitor Center
    on May 31 .
   In her 36 years at the Bay Model , Chris has become an integral part of our community , both in her official capacity with the Army Corps of Engineers and as a volunteer for numerous local organizations and on City of Sausalito boards and commissions .
   Following 
   reminiscences
    from each of the councilmembers at the close of the May 24 meeting , Mayor Janelle Kellman read a 
   proclamation
     recognizing and thanking Chris for her many , many years of dedicated community involvement and encouraging her to continue helping along the way , but after she takes a well - deserved break .
