   The City of Kearney Public Works Department on behalf of Morton Construction announces that on Thursday , April 28 , 2022 construction work will take place on the south bound outside lane of 2nd Avenue between 11th Street and 12th Street .  The lane is expected to be reopened to traffic on Friday , April 29 , depending on weather .   Citizens are asked to use extreme caution when traveling around the work zone .
