Los Alamos County New Mexico - Community Invited to a Design Workshop for Golf Course Project Phase 2 Design Concepts 22 September 2022 ( news )

The Community is invited to participate in a design workshop at 5:30 p . m . on Thursday , Sep . 29 , in the Los Alamos Golf Course Clubhouse Community Room located at 4290 Diamond Dr , Los Alamos . Hosted by the Los Alamos Public Works Department , the design team will discuss Phase 2 design concept options for the Golf Course Improvement Project .
Phase 2 of the project includes development of several design concept options for improving Holes 1 through 3 , reconfiguring the driving range to improve safety and eliminate the use of safety netting , and other improvements such as practice area and cart path upgrades .
The meeting will include a site visit and interactive work session with the design team and county staff . The workshop agenda includes the following:
5:30 - 6 p . m . – Brief presentation of the background and goals of the project , review of the design options previously presented and a discussion of the design rationale .
6 - 7 p . m . – Site visit of various areas of the course to review options .
7 p . m . - Reconvene at the Clubhouse for follow - up discussion and questions and participate in an interactive design charette .
In person attendance is recommended , particularly for the site visit portion of the meeting . However , virtual attendees will be able to attend ( with the exception of the site visit ) via the following Zoom link:
