☷ Madison County New York - Community Baby Shower for Expectant First time Families 20 May 2022

    Party is a free community baby shower for expectant first - time families . Nurses and educators from Madison County Health Department and Oneida Health will present on when to call the doctor’s office , what to expect at the hospital with labor and delivery , getting breastfeeding off to a good start , the importance of infant immunizations , how to sooth a crying baby , and how dads and support people can make a difference . We will also take you through a day in the life of baby with feeding , burping , diapering , taking baby’s temperature , safe sleep , and car seat safety information . WIC , Healthy Families , Care Net of CNY , Dads of Madison County , and Fidelis Care will also be in attendance for participants to connect with community resources .
   This free event will be held Friday , June 10 , 2022 from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm at the Gorman Center at 1081 Northside Shopping Center in Oneida . Lunch is provided , participants will receive a gift bag , and have the chance to win a door prize .  
   Call Madison County Health Department at 315 - 366 - 2848 to register . Space is limited to 15 families . Priority is given to Madison County residents . Each expectant mom may bring one guest .
   This event is sponsored by Madison County Healthy Beginnings Provider Network with funding from the Gorman Foundation and Fidelis Care .
